Riding Areas:
Sand Mountain/Sand Hollow Reservoir:

Sand Mountain is an excellent riding area for a number of reasons.  It is conveniently located and can be accessed by ATV directly from our shop.  No trailering and loading/unloading is necessary.  This area utilizes a variety of terrain including red rock, desert trails, washes, and sand dunes.  The changing elevations create amazing vistas and photo opportunities of Sand Hollow Reservoir, desert plateaus, various rock formations, and the 1000' drop to Warner Valley.

Gooseberry Mesa/Little Creek Mountain:

Gooseberry Mesa and Little Creek Mountain are adjacent to one another and can be ridden together or seperately depending on time.  These areas are located at approximately 5,000 to 5,800 feet.  Gooseberry Mesa provides amazing views of Zion National Park, Smithsonian Butte, the Virgin River, and the surrounding valleys and plateaus.  It also accesses a historical cemetery and buildings in the ghost town of Grafton where scenes from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were filmed.  Little Creek Mountain accesses a plateau covered in Juniper trees and provides vast, breathtaking views of the Arizona Strip approximately 1,300 below.
Warner Valley:

Like Sand Mountain, Warner Valley is also accessed directly from our shop by ATV.  A large loop around Warner Valley accesses dinosaur tracks, multiple petroglyphs, and historic Ft. Pearce.  This is a great ride for beginners and/or site-seeing, and the terrain includes dirt trails, washes, sand, slot canyons, and purple "moon mounds."  The experienced rider can access more challenging terrain directly from the Warner Valley loop.  Longer rides or tours can take you into Arizona where you can access the historic "Honeymoon Trail" or Little Black Mountain where additional trails and petroglyphs are located.
Toquerville Falls:

Toquerville Falls is located at approximately 3,800 feet and is an excellent destination.  Zion National Park and the colorful canyons of Smith Mesa can be seen as you ascend toward the falls.  The falls themselves present a great photo opportunity.  Before descending back down the canyon, a short climb to the Hurricane Cliffs provide amazing views of the Pine Valley Mountains.  Depending on ability, one can ride along the Toquerville riverbottoms and locate beautiful cliff walls and vegetation.  This ride is not recommended if there has been recent rain or precipitation.
Silver Reef:

Silver Reef accesses the Pine Valley Mountains located North of Hurricane, Utah.  This route climbs along the South side of these mountains and offers spectacular views of the valley below.  There are multiple side roads which include sites such as an old kiln that was constructed in the late 1800's to support local mining operations, and natural rock formations and arches.
Coral Pink Sand Dunes:

Coral Pinks Sand Dunes State Park is approximately 45 minutes to one hour away from Hurricane, Utah.  The park offers 1,000 acres of riding area and there are hundreds of miles of additional trails surrounding the park, which include Mail Drop, The Barracks, and Hog Canyon.  Additional trail details will be added soon.
Red Cliffs/Sandstone Mountain:

This route is amazing and can be ridden in conjunction with Toquerville Falls.  The Red Cliffs area is great because of the variety it provides including serpentine sand washes, beautiful desert landscapes, red rock ridges and mountains, and access to the Virgin River.  Need to stretch your legs?  Red Cliffs Desert Reserve also has excellent hiking.
