Frequently Asked Questions:

How old do I have to be to drive a machine?

You must be 16 years of age or older with a valid drivers license.  This does not apply as a passenger.

What are the age requirements for renting and/or touring?

-Renting: You must be 21 years of age or older to rent a machine.

-Touring: You must be 18 years of age or older to sign tour contract; however, a parent or guardian can sign in behalf of a minor under the age of 18.

Are there additional fees associated with renting and/or touring?

A security deposit is required for each rental depending on the machine rented.  This can be done using cash or any major credit card.  The deposit is simply an authorization to use the funds in the event that the machine is damaged.  If the machine is returned without damage, the cash or receipt is given back to the customer.  The security deposit does not apply to tours.

What else is or is not included in the rental and/or tour?

-Rentals include the use of a helmet for all drivers and passengers.  The machine is fueled and ready to go, and should be returned fully fueled and clean.

-Tours include helmets, goggles, gloves, bottled water, snacks, and of course, one of our professional tour guides to lead you through the riding area.  You are not responsible for re-fueling and cleaning the machine.

How many people are required to tour?

At this time, we require a minimum of two people to go out on tour.  An individual can tour if they are willing to pay the fee for one driver and one passenger.

What kind of experience is required to tour?

None.  We can accommodate people with all levels of experience and tailor the tour to fit each individual’s needs.

Are there different areas to ride with different levels of difficulty?

Absolutely.  There are hundreds of miles of trails around Hurricane, St. George, Zion National Park, etc.  We determine where we/you ride depending on the appetite of the customer, the current season, conditions, etc.  Elevation and terrain can vary significantly depending where we/you choose to ride.

How do I get my rented machine to the trail head?

We offer a variety of options to get your machine to the area you’ve chosen to ride:

1.  Ride directly from the shop.  It is legal to ride ATV’s in the town of Hurricane and a variety of trails can be accessed directly from our shop.  This method in very convenient and does not require trailering and loading/unloading the machine.  This route utilizes seven miles of asphalt from our shop and takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to access the trail head.

2.  Trailer your rented machine using your vehicle.  If you desire to access a riding area that is not accessible directly from our shop, you can rent a trailer for an additional $10.

3.  Delivery and pick up service.  If you do not have the capability to haul your rented machine, we also provide delivery and pick-up services to the trail head for an additional fee.

What is the condition of your equipment?

We provide the newest machines offered in the industry and maintain them diligently.  They are clean and in great condition.  Our machines are not governed (limited to slower speeds).
